Since its creation in 2005, the Rappahannock NonProfit Center at The Link has sponsored programs for nonprofit, community-based organizations to assist with a variety of needs identified in early focus groups, to help build business and development skills.

In its new and expanded role at The Link, the Nonprofit Support Services arm of the Rappahannock Community Center continues its ongoing programs of support for community nonprofits. Training workshops are on a periodic basis, and held throughout the year. They recently covered such skill topics as:

  • Grant Writing
  • Quick Books for Nonprofits
  • Ebase Training
  • Strategic Planning
  • Fundraising by Mail

Support services continue to expand in the new facility and include:

  • Nonprofit Networking Luncheons (generally October through May)
  • The Foundation Center Cooperating Collection (including computer access to the RNPC database of 80,000 grant-making organizations)
  • A Nonprofit Library of resource materials
  • An Annual Nonprofit Conference (for sharing expertise/information)
  • Event Space and Grounds Rental for your Nonprofit Events
