The Advisory Board for the Community Center

In addition to the Board of Directors, The Link is guided by a group of Advisors or citizen experts who serve as two-way ambassadors. They represent different areas of the community and express the needs and concerns of these areas. They also provide feedback to the community on the plans and workings of The Link and the Community Center. They encourage community participation and involvement, and would be pleased to hear from any members of the community who have comments or suggestions. The current Advisory Board members and the fields they represent are as follows:

  • Aging - Chris Miller
  • Agriculture - Kenner Love
  • Arts - Joanne Hilty
  • Business and Tourism - Barbara Adolfi
  • Community, general outreach - Todd Endo
  • Community, legal - Stephanie Ridder
  • Conservation and the Environment - Hal Hunter
  • County government - Eddie Wayland, Rappahannock County Supervisor
  • Education - Marti Cannon
  • Health and Human Services - Krista Hall
  • Fire and Rescue - Gary Settles
  • Religion - Rev. Jon Heddleston, Reynolds Memorial Church

In addition, four Rappahannock High School students are chosen by the High School Principal to serve annually and provide advice and counsel on matters relating to issues affecting youth.
